world of warships how to play german cruisers

My initial strategy for learning the game tended to be a pretty ham-fisted/brute force style. I'm sure there are other equally good vids on the matter out there, this is simply the one I found that helped ME.

rember that with the exception of the pheonix and omoha us cruisers dont have torpedoes, but basicly everyone else does, so try and stay angled away from other cruisers so as to be abell to avoid the torpedo rounds that will enevitably be fired at you if let them expose their rears, were their torpedo tubes are located. with the exception of the Pensacola 1st guns, us cruisers turret rotation is generally 'good enough' to be able to keep almost all guns on target during these maneuvers without exposing your citadel, you may lose out on some dpm by losing the ability to use 2 of your turets every couple salvos, but the increased armor from angling and the difficulty of hitting you makes this loss negligible. only make a full turn to switch directions (thus exposing your broadside) when your oponent's round have just landed so that you have the most time to compete the turn without eating citadel pens. if your rudder isnt changing direction and your speed isnt constantly shifting then your an easy target.

for us cruisers you want to be in maneuver battles, constantly turning and changing course while keeping yourself at varying speeds roughly 10-13 km away from your target against bb's below t8 and 13-15 km away from bbs above t8, and then only close in once these ships are dealt with.
